THIS YEAR"S SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT

Here is its folks: This year's show will be held on May 9th from Noon until 7pm at the Knights of Columbus in College Park, MD - 10142 Cherry Hill Rd, College Park. The show will be called Chipapalooza GREEN and will raise funds and awareness for environmental problems in Maryland. We have many go-green initiatives in store for the show - I'll keep you updated as to what they are as time goes on. The show will feature live music all day, outdoor fun and activities, guest speakers, and a marketplace for green businesses.

The bands we have confirmed so far are Lionize, Fire in the Hole, The Hint, and Lion Turf. Check them all out on Myspace, they are amazing. This is going to be our best show ever. You all are in for a real treat.

PRS Guitar donates to Chipapalooza

Paul Reed Smith has decided to donate a guitar to Chipapalooza this year, signed by Paul himself. The guitar is valued at $1000. We will raffle the guitar off at the event to raise even more funds for charity. REI Sponsors Chipapalooza!

REI, an outdoor retailer with a location in Hyattsville, MD (near College Park), has agreed to sponsor Chipapalooza for $500 to help cover our cost of purchasing t-shirts made of recycled materials to sell at the event. This blog has been created for the purpose of keeping our fans, supporters, sponsors, and performers up-to-date with developments in our upcoming projects.

We will do our best to update this blog several times a week and we encourage your feedback and comments.

We hope that this blog will be your premiere source for information about this year's Chipapalooza Charity Concert.
